*This infographic provides a list of healthcare professionals who may be part of the care team for a person diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). This list may not include every healthcare professional involved in the care of a person, as each person has their own journey. And similarly, some patients may not require care from all the healthcare providers listed in this infographic.
Throughout their journey, a person diagnosed with TNBC may be cared for by multiple care providers with different areas of focus (also known in the hospital setting as a multidisciplinary team). This coordinated approach, where all care providers involved in the person’s treatment work together, helps ensure patients receive care that responds to their unique needs.
People diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) may have a genetic predisposition (or genetic change) that makes them more likely to get breast cancer. Talk to your oncologist or genetic counselor to see if you are eligible for genetic testing.
